Cottage Kitchen Refurbishment
DDS (UK) Consulting Ltd where appointed in late spring 2019 to commercially manage & project manage; via www.syndicatepropertydevelopment.com the full renovation of a delightful 17th century thatched flint cottage located in the beautiful countryside in Southern Hampshire.
The project encompassed the full strip out of the existing dated kitchen, snug, reception and family bathroom.
The refurbishment included the installation of new windows and doors, electrics, plumbing and heating. The original fire place and beams where also sand blasted to breath some new life back into them removing hundreds of years of wear and tear. Old stud walls removed and new ceilings installed.
The new layout features an open plan kitchen diner with a stunning period kitchen with a modern twist which includes white stone and natural oak worktops. Stunning LED lighting and modern heating and lighting controls finished in matt Bronze bring that extra touch of class. New real wood veneer flooring is laid throughout the kitchen, dining areas and reception room.
The family bathroom received a refresh with modern paint tones which flowed through the newly created area. A new heritage style flooring and new solid oak doors throughout and the beautiful papered feature wall in the dining area bring the final touches to this stunning refurbishment.
The project was completed within the budget and delivered within the allotted time and DDS (UK) Consulting Ltd.’s professional team once again delivered a successful project which was to the owners delight.
